BRING US TO YOU

We love to travel around the globe and teach a taoist approach to yoga, functional anatomy, acroyoga, and slackline. We are happy to offer weekend intensives and advanced teacher trainings at a studio or festival near you.

ABOUT

Dive deep into functionality with Matt Eshleman, student of Paul Grilley, and Tatiana Eshleman, athlete and student of human body and movement for more than 15 years, of You Do Yoga in Cincinnati . They believe that to most effectively and safely practice or teach yoga asana, one must understand the fundamental principles of anatomy. Expect interactive, practical study in a relaxed environment.

Matt and Tati enjoy sharing a spectrum of yoga from the balancing practice of yin yoga to the playful yang practices of acro yoga and slackline.

YIN YOGA TEACHER TRAINING

Why does Yin Yoga feel so good and so different from other styles of yoga? It’s all about fascia! Learn the art of letting go; all about fascia, its unique properties, and how to safely target and stretch it.  This workshop is designed for yoga teachers and experienced practitioners who would like to further explore the underpinnings of the Yin practice, and is intended to give instructors greater confidence in leading Yin Yoga classes.

FUNCTIONAL ANATOMY INTENSIVE

Why do people look so different in the same pose? What am I supposed to feel in my pose anyways? Focus on the intention of common poses, and understand the underlying anatomy to increase effectiveness and avoid injury. Learn to discriminate between different types of resistance to movement, how and when to adapt your approach to poses that may challenge you. To explore these concepts in greater depth, perform hands-on Range of Motion assessments with fellow participants, and learn how to work with unique individual variations among yoga practitioners.

SUBTLE ANATOMY INTENSIVE

Study locations of the Meridian System used in Traditional Chinese Medicine and its applications to yoga postures.  Discover Meridians and the energetic laws of the body through the lense of western science. Investigate meditation practices to facilitate awareness of the chakras, and their physical, emotional, and mental functions.

ADVANCED ANATOMY OF COMMON INJURY & MEDICAL CONDITIONS

Yoga is an increasing recommendation by physicians for a range of medical conditions. Understand the anatomy of common medical conditions and discover practices to assist. In this weekend intensive we discuss working with focused populations and private clients, the anatomy of breathing, and the mind-body connection between breath and the nervous system.

ADVANCED TAOIST YOGA: YANG SEQUENCING

Embody the 5 Taoist Elements in movement practices. Explore advanced sequencing concepts and expand the possibilities of creating your own.  Dive deep into ancient Taoist philosophy and investigate it's practical relevance today.

AN ACRO YOGA + SLACKLINE EXPERIENCE; WEEKEND INTENSIVE

Designed to build confidence, trust, & strength from the ground up. Experience human connection and play and the overlapping principles of acro yoga and slackline. Practice with a focus on technique and safety in AcroYoga FUNdamentals, Beyond Basics, Transitions, & Inversions to advance beginner and intermediate practices. Slackline skills build from kneeling, sitting, standing, and perhaps even walking on the line. We WILL have fun.
